Reverend Parris in "The Crucible"

Crucible-E-card.jpg

By Arthur Miller

Directed by Jeffrey Lo

Arthur Miller’s seminal theatrical work was originally written as an allegory for McCarthyism cloaked in the environment of 17th Century Salem, Massachusetts. Winner of the 1953 Tony Award for Best Play, The Crucible is more relevant now than ever, reminding us that while the targets may change, hysteria, fear-mongering, and scare tactics will always pose a threat to American civility and liberty.

A powerful drama – The New York Times
